Zarna & Luke
A sun-drenched castle celebration with European elegance and Indian soul
Gujarati warmth meets Polish tradition in a Catalan castle
A destination chosen from the heart
Set high above the rolling hills of the Empordà countryside, Castell d’Empordà was the perfect backdrop for Zarna and Luke’s wedding on 28th May 2025. The medieval castle, with its panoramic views across vineyards and olive groves, offered the kind of timeless European romance the couple dreamed of, while still allowing space for their multicultural heritage to shine. With 72 guests travelling from across the world, the day felt intimate, elegant and deeply personal from the very beginning.
An elegant ceremony framed by nature
The ceremony took place on the castle lawns, where a beautifully structured setup created a central aisle flanked by rows of seated guests beneath the open Catalan sky. In the photo, Zarna and Luke stand in the heart of this scene, sharing their first kiss as a married couple, surrounded by their loved ones and the golden stone of the castle behind them. Zarna wore a fitted lace gown with a long, flowing veil that caught the sunlight, while Luke looked sharp and classic in a black tuxedo, embodying timeless sophistication. Their friend Matt officiated, adding warmth and authenticity to a ceremony filled with emotion and quiet joy.
Cultures woven into every moment
During the aperitivo, guests were treated to Indian canapés and traditional Gujarati sweets, adding a beautiful cultural layer to the European cocktail hour. Luke’s Polish family welcomed every guest personally, creating a heartfelt bridge between families and traditions. Elegant floral designs by Flors Bertran softened the stone architecture with fresh, romantic textures, while Teresa Snowball ensured Zarna’s beauty look remained effortlessly radiant throughout the day.
Music, movement and magic
Music was central to the celebration, with live violin by Noémi Violin setting a refined atmosphere before seamlessly transitioning into dancing led by Kamal Events. Guests filled the dance floor under the warm Catalan night, while Wabisabi captured every smile, embrace and spontaneous moment in their signature documentary style.
Zarna and Luke’s wedding was a perfect reflection of who they are: elegant yet joyful, rooted in tradition yet beautifully modern — all set against the breathtaking landscape of the Empordà.
