A warm autumn welcome in Barcelona

Erica and Larry’s wedding weekend began the way all great celebrations should: relaxed, joyful and full of good food. The night before their wedding, guests gathered for a laid-back welcome party at Trafalgar Pizza in the heart of Barcelona, easing everyone into the festivities and giving family and friends from across the world a chance to connect before the big day. With 100 guests travelling from the USA and China, this informal evening set the tone for what would become a beautifully layered, culturally rich celebration.

A historic venue transformed into a garden dream

On 15th November, a golden autumn sun lit up the grand spaces of La Centenaria 1779. Erica and Larry’s vision was clear: they wanted the majestic Orangerie to feel like an enchanted garden in late autumn. Overhead, branches and cascading greenery created a living ceiling, transforming the space into something soft, organic and romantic. The warm, moody colour palette of the florals by Flor de Blanco — rich oranges, muted blush tones and earthy greens — echoed the couple’s mood board and brought the entire space to life.

A couple glowing with quiet elegance

Erica looked radiant in her flowing off-the-shoulder gown, holding a bouquet of peach and ivory roses with delicate foliage that perfectly reflected the autumnal palette. Larry complemented her in a classic black suit, understated and elegant, letting Erica’s soft, luminous look take centre stage. Together, they embodied a timeless kind of romance, beautifully captured by Alex Gallardo in every candid glance and quiet moment.

A celebration of cultures and rhythm

Their ceremony, led by Larry’s best man and Erica’s sister, was held in both English and Cantonese, allowing every guest to feel fully part of the moment. During the aperitivo, a traditional tea ceremony honoured Erica’s Chinese heritage while Catjazz filled the space with soulful live music. Guests then enjoyed a stunning flamenco performance by Adán and Lorena before sitting down to an elegant dinner by Sensacions Barcelona. As night fell, Soundworks took over, turning the Great Hall into a glowing dance floor where cultures, generations and stories came together in one unforgettable night.
