Stan & Jean, our dashing grooms from Switzerland, came to Barcelona in search of something stylish, urban, and unmistakably them—and their wedding was just that. Held in the heart of the city at the trendy Casa Bonay, their September 2021 celebration was intimate, chic, and bursting with personality.

The day began at the hotel where the couple got ready surrounded by their closest people, in rooms that blended modern design with Barcelona’s historic charm. As rain clouds gathered in the afternoon, nothing dampened their spirits—in fact, some of our favorite shots are of the couple walking hand-in-hand down Gran Via, umbrellas in tow, radiating joy and elegance - all captured by Gary Manrique.

Casa Bonay, known for its contemporary flair and fantastic food, was the perfect match for this city-loving couple. With moody lighting, rich textures, and a stylish crowd, the celebration felt more like a curated experience than a traditional wedding. Every detail reflected Stan & Jean’s taste for the cool and the unconventional.

A Dazzling End to the Night

As evening fell, guests were treated to a high-energy party soundtracked by none other than Drag DJ Ari Korrales, who brought charisma, glitter, and beats to the dance floor. It was a night of celebration, self-expression, and unforgettable moments—just as the couple had dreamed.
