Irene & Lucas
Romantic City-to-Countryside Wedding in Barcelona
A colorful celebration with Cuban rhythms and cathedral vows
Young, radiant, and full of joy, Irene & Lucas traveled from Florida to Spain for a destination wedding that was as meaningful as it was magical. For them, Barcelona wasn’t just a beautiful place—it was part of their story. Their emotional ceremony took place in the breathtaking crypt of the Sagrada Familia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic spaces in the world. Saying “I do” in such a sacred, historic setting was nothing short of unforgettable.
From City Romance to Countryside Fiesta
After the ceremony, guests were transported to La Baronia, a hillside estate with sweeping views, where the celebration shifted from reverent to joyful. Irene & Lucas arrived in style in a vintage classic car, stepping into a world of lush florals, vibrant decor, and Cuban flair. The floral design by Flors Bertran mixed bold blooms with fresh fruit for a colorful, sensory experience that matched the couple’s energy.
Music, Masks & Magic
As twilight turned to evening, the vibe turned electric. Guests embraced the festive mood with carnival masks, creating a whimsical twist that brought laughter and flair to the dance floor. The live Cuban band Calle Habana, followed by DJ sets from Ilsotec events, kept the celebration going late into the night.
With photography by Miriam from Kiss & Chips Photography and a video team from Agencia Efedos, every emotion and detail was captured beautifully. From sacred vows in Gaudí’s masterpiece to a lively countryside party under the stars, this wedding was a perfect fusion of elegance, tradition, and fiesta.
