Set high in the Ripoll region of Catalonia, Ashley & Omeed’s wedding at Castell de Llaés was like something from a romantic legend—dramatic scenery, meaningful rituals, and heartfelt joy. Perched above endless rolling hills, the castle gave their guests a truly breathtaking introduction to rural Spain.

A Castle for Connection

With friends and family traveling from across the world, the couple wanted a venue that was private, soulful, and unforgettable. Castell de Llaés delivered all that and more. The ancient stone architecture and panoramic views set the tone for a celebration grounded in nature and full of emotion.

Honoring Persian Heritage

The ceremony incorporated the Sofreh Aghd, a beloved tradition from Omeed’s Persian roots. This ornate ceremonial spread was set up facing the morning light and adorned with symbolic items: a mirror for brightness, candles for unity, herbs for healing, and almonds and eggs to signify fertility and new beginnings. The setup created a deeply spiritual focal point, beautifully blending cultures in a timeless setting.

Florals, Food & Rock and Roll

Esperança from Vidiella Flors created arrangements that mirrored the wild elegance of the setting, while Sauleda catering delivered a Mediterranean feast to remember. Ashley’s look—effortlessly romantic—was brought to life by Teresa Snowball & co, blending classic beauty with a modern twist.

When night fell, the castle lit up with energy. A mix of love, laughter, and the unforgettable rock tunes of Bob Standards filled the courtyard. Their setlist gave the wedding a final dose of soul and style, with the mountains echoing the celebration late into the night.
