A three-day international conference bringing together nearly 200 sustainability leaders to explore “To Neutrality and Beyond”.
The Vision
The goal was to design an event that didn’t just discuss sustainability—but actively demonstrated it. Every decision, from venue selection to catering and logistics, needed to align with environmentally responsible practices, without compromising on quality or experience.
At the same time, the programme had to feel dynamic and seamless, bringing together multiple formats, speakers, and locations across the city.
The Result
PearlSandals managed the event end-to-end, ensuring a seamless experience across all three days.
Our responsibilities included:
Coordinating multiple venues and programme formats
Managing timing, guest flow, and transitions between locations
Collaborating with certified catering partners and local suppliers
Overseeing on-site operations from setup to final breakdown
Integrating sustainable practices across all elements of the event
The Experience
Guests were guided through a carefully curated three-day programme combining content, connection, and discovery across Barcelona.
The programme included:
Keynote sessions and panel discussions with international speakers
Interactive workshops across multiple rooms and formats
A large-scale networking reception with live music
A press conference and industry gatherings
Guided visits to LEED-certified buildings in the 22@ district
Our Role
The event was delivered smoothly across all three days, with excellent feedback from both organisers and attendees.
The GBCI Europe Circle 2023 demonstrated that large-scale international events can be both highly professional and environmentally responsible—setting a benchmark for sustainability-driven gatherings.
